The Stein 2.0 Concert series was named in honor of Gertrude Stein's Salon in Paris, France 1900. Gertrude Stein invited guests to view the latest Art of the time in her living room on Saturday evenings. There the greatest Minds of Art like, Picasso, Hemingway, Matisse, and James Joyce, gathered to share ideas and delve in to the depths of the Artistic Realm. We invite you to dive into the Depths of Sound in the Parlor of the Cosmopolitan Hotel to share your thoughts and ideas of Sound Expression. 

ABOUT THE CONCERTS /

Instrumentation: Bass Clarinet, Cello w/electronics, Electric Guitar.
 
Composer, Amanuel Zarzowski has composed pieces specifically for woodwinds virtuoso, Dr Ariana Warren, sound artist and educator, Dr. Chris Warren, and Cello Virtuoso, Erdis Maxhelaku. These sublime pieces will be performed live in the Parlor of the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Guests enjoy the comforts of food and drinks and share thoughts by projecting texts to the composer and musicians, who will take questions and elaborate on the creation and expression of each piece.
